Wood Rot Repair
At Turner Painting, we understand that wood rot is a common challenge in maintaining timber homes. We utilise traditional joinery techniques, as well as the Repaircare epoxy system.
Below is an example of expansion and contraction, where some joints have merely cracked while others have begun to rot. Utilizing the Repair Care system, we addressed the decaying windows while also implementing conservation joints for others, safeguarding them against future failures.
During the preparation stage for painting, we often encounter wood rot. We are able to remedy the issue.
Here's another example: a window sill that had been previously repaired (not by us) using builder's bog. We opted to replace the old repair with the Repair Care system for a more durable and long-lasting solution.
